And now I can finally get back to writing and lurking on the internet. Hurrah!

My physics teacher is convinced that an exclamation mark is, in fact, an explanation mark.

Surely a physics teacher should know the difference between an exclamation ('oh my god, the laser's set my hair on fire, owowowholygodaargh') and an explanation ('that does this because the elves tell it to, ok?')? Or am I just a punctuation and grammar snob?

Why must you baffle me so, A-Level Physics? What did I ever do to you?

I know the thing that baffles me was explained in class, and I can picture the moment that it was explained like I was there again. But my memory doesn't come with sound, which fucks me over.

Damn it, I give up. Google has failed me. I'll just ask him tomorrow.
